ܘܐܝܬܝܘܗ̇ ܠܩܒܘܬܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܘܣܡܘܗ̇ ܒܕܘܟܬܗ̇ ܒܓܘ ܡܫܟܢܐ ܕܢܩܫ ܠܗ̇ ܕܘܝܕ ܘܩܪܒܘ ܥܠܘ̈ܬܐ ܘܫܠܡ̈ܐ ܩܕܡ ܩܒܘܬܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ
dmry' qbwthh qdm wshlm' elwth' wqrbw dwyd lh dnqsh mshkn' bgw bdwkthh wsmwh dmry' lqbwthh w'ythywh
They brought in God’s ark, and set it in the middle of the tent that David had pitched for it; and they offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before God.

ܘܟܕ ܫܠܡ ܕܘܝܕ ܠܡܩܪܒܘ ܥܠܘ̈ܬܐ ܘܫܠܡ̈ܐ ܒܪܟ ܠܥܡܐ ܕܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܒܫܡܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܚܝܠܬܢܐ

When David had finished offering the burnt offering and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in Yahweh’s name.

ܘܦܠܓ ܠܟܠܗ ܥܡܐ ܠܟܠܗܘܢ ܕܒܝܬ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܡܢ ܓܒܪ̈ܐ ܘܥܕܡܐ ܠܢܫ̈ܐ ܘܡܢ ܓܕܘ̈ܕܐ ܘܥܕܡܐ ܠܝܢܩ̈ܝ ܬܕ̈ܝܐ ܠܟܠ ܓܒܪ ܘܓܒܪ ܓܪܝܨܬܐ ܕܠܚܡܐ ܚܕܐ ܘܡܢܬܐ ܚܕܐ ܘܣܢܪܩܐ ܚܕ ܘܐܙܠܘ ܟܠܗ ܥܡܐ ܐܢܫ ܠܒܝܬܗ

He gave to everyone of Israel, both man and woman, to everyone a loaf of bread, a portion of meat, and a cake of raisins.

ܘܝܗܒ ܩܕܡ ܠܘ̈ܝܐ ܕܡܫܡܫܝܢ ܩܕܡ ܡܪܝܐ ܘܡܕܟܪܝܢ ܘܡܘܕܝܢ ܘܡܫܒܚܝܢ ܠܡܪܝܐ ܐܠܗܐ ܕܐܝܣܪܐܝܠ

He appointed some of the Levites to minister before Yahweh’s ark, and to commemorate, to thank, and to praise Yahweh, the God of Israel:

ܐܣܦ ܪܫܗܘܢ ܬܢܝܢܐ ܙܟܪܝܐ ܘܝܘܥܐܝܠ ܘܝܘܚܐܝܠ ܘܡܬܝܬܐ ܘܐܠܝܒ ܘܒܢܝܐ ܘܐܣܦ ܘܥܡܝܢܕܒ ܘܐܣܦ ܘܢܚܙܐܝܠ ܘܐܣܦ

Asaph the chief, and second to him Zechariah, then Jeiel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Mattithiah, Eliab, Benaiah, Obed-Edom, and Jeiel, with stringed instruments and with harps; and Asaph with cymbals, sounding aloud;

ܗܠܝܢ ܟܠܗܘܢ ܟܗ̈ܢܐ ܕܩ̇ܪܝܢ ܒܩܪ̈ܢܬܐ ܐܡܝܢܐܝܬ ܩܕܡ ܩܒܘܬܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ
dmry' qbwthh qdm 'myn'yth bqrnth' dqryn khn' klhwn hlyn
with Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests with trumpets continually, before the ark of the covenant of God.

ܗܝܕܝܢ ܦܬܚ ܦܘܡܗ ܕܘܝܕ ܒܝܘܡܐ ܗ̇ܘ ܗܘ ܘܪ̈ܝܫܝ ܟܠܗܘܢ ܟܗ̈ܢܐ ܘܠܘ̈ܝܐ ܠܡܫܒܚܘ ܠܡܪܝܐ ܥܠ ܛܝܪܐ ܕܐܣܦ ܘܕܐܚ̈ܘܗܝ ܘܗܠܝܢ ܪ̈ܫܐ ܕܬܫܒ̈ܚܬܐ ܕܐܡܪ ܕܘܝܕ ܩܕܡ ܩܒܘܬܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܒܝܘܡܐ ܗ̇ܘ

Then on that day David first ordained giving of thanks to Yahweh by the hand of Asaph and his brothers.

ܐܘܕܘ ܠܡܪܝܐ ܘܩܪܘ ܫܡܗ ܐܘܕܥܘ ܒܝܬ ܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܥܒ̇ܕ̈ܘܗܝ

Oh give thanks to Yahweh. Call on his name. Make what he has done known among the peoples.

ܫܒܚܘ ܠܗ ܘܐܘܕܘ ܠܗ ܐܫܬܥܘ ܟܠܗܝܢ ܓܒܪ̈ܘܬܗ
gbrwthh klhyn 'shthew lh w'wdw lh shbkhw
Sing to him. Sing praises to him. Tell of all his marvelous works.

ܐܫܬܒܚܘ ܒܫܡܐ ܕܩܘܕܫܗ ܢܚܕܐ ܠܒܐ ܕܟܘܠ ܕܒ̇ܥܝܢ ܠܡܪܝܐ
lmry' dbeyn dkwl lb' nkhd' dqwdshh bshm' 'shthbkhw
Glory in his holy name. Let the heart of those who seek Yahweh rejoice.

ܬܒܥܘ ܠܡܪܝܐ ܘܠܥܘܫܢܗ ܨܠܘ ܩܕܡܘܗܝ ܐܡܝܢܐܝܬ
'myn'yth qdmwhy tslw wlewshnh lmry' thbew
Seek Yahweh and his strength. Seek his face forever more.

ܐܬܕܟܪܘ ܓܢܒܪ̈ܘܬܗ ܕܥܒܕ ܓܢܒܪ̈ܘܬܗ ܘܕܝ̣ܢܐ ܕܦܘܡܗ
dpwmh wdyn' gnbrwthh debd gnbrwthh 'thdkrw
Remember his marvelous works that he has done, his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth,

ܙܪܥܗ ܕܐܒܪܗܡ ܥܒ̣ܕܗ ܒܢܘ̈ܗܝ ܕܝܥܩܘܒ ܓܒ̈ܝܐ ܕܓܒܐ
dgb' gby' dyeqwb bnwhy ebdh d'brhm zreh
you offspring of Israel his servant, you children of Jacob, his chosen ones.

ܗܘܝܘ ܡܪܝܐ ܐܠܗܢ ܕܒܟܠܗ̇ ܐܪܥܐ ܢܡܘ̈ܣܘܗܝ
nmwswhy 're' dbklh 'lhn mry' hwyw
He is Yahweh our God. His judgments are in all the earth.

ܐܬܕܟܪܘ ܠܥܠܡ ܕܝܬܩܐ ܕܝܠܗ ܡܠܬܐ ܕܦܩܕ ܠܐܠܦ ܕܪ̈ܝܢ
dryn l'lp dpqd mlth' dylh dythq' lelm 'thdkrw
Remember his covenant forever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations,

ܕܝܡܐ ܠܐܒܪܗܡ ܘܕܝܬܩܐ ܝܗܒ ܠܒܢ̈ܘܗܝ ܕܐܝܣܚܩ
d'yskhq lbnwhy yhb wdythq' l'brhm dym'
the covenant which he made with Abraham, his oath to Isaac.

ܘܓܙܪܗ ܠܝܥܩܘܒ ܠܥܠܡ ܘܠܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܝܗܒ ܠܗܘܢ ܕܝܬܩܐ ܠܥܠܡ ܥܠܡܝܢ
elmyn lelm dythq' lhwn yhb wl'ysryl lelm lyeqwb wgzrh
He confirmed it to Jacob for a statute, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant,

ܘܐܡܪ ܠܗܘܢ ܕܠܟܘܢ ܝܗ̇ܒ ܐܢܐ ܠܗ̇ ܐܪܥܐ ܕܟܢܥܢ ܦܨܬܐ ܕܝܪܬܘܬܟܘܢ
dyrthwthkwn ptsth' dknen 're' lh 'n' yhb dlkwn lhwn w'mr
saying, “I will give you the land of Canaan, The lot of your inheritance,”

ܟܕ ܗܘܝܬܘܢ ܐܢ̈ܫܝ ܡܢܝܢܐ ܙܥܘܪ̈ܝܢ ܘܥܡܘܪ̈ܝܢ ܒܗ̇
bh wemwryn zewryn mnyn' 'nshy hwythwn kd
when you were but a few men in number, yes, very few, and foreigners in it.

ܘܐܫܬܒܝܬܘܢ ܡܢ ܥܡܐ ܠܥܡܐ ܘܡܢ ܡܠܟܘܬܐ ܠܡܠܟܘܬܐ ܐܚܪܬܐ
'khrth' lmlkwth' mlkwth' wmn lem' em' mn w'shthbythwn
They went about from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another people.
21
ܠܐ ܫܒܩ ܠܫܠܝ̈ܛܢܐ ܕܢܗܪܘܢܟܘܢ ܘܪܕܐ ܡܛܠܬܟܘܢ ܡ̈ܠܟܐ
mlk' mTlthkwn wrd' dnhrwnkwn lshlyTn' shbq l'
He allowed no man to do them wrong. Yes, he reproved kings for their sakes,

ܘܐܡܪ ܠܗܘܢ ܠܐ ܬܩܪܒܘܢ ܠܡܫ̈ܝܚܝ ܘܠܢ̈ܒܝܝ ܠܐ ܬܒܐܫܘܢ
thb'shwn l' wlnbyy lmshykhy thqrbwn l' lhwn w'mr
“Don’t touch my anointed ones! Do my prophets no harm!”

ܫܒܚܘ ܠܡܪܝܐ ܟܘܠܗ̇ ܐܪܥܐ ܣܒܪܘ ܟܠܝܘܡ ܒܝܘܡ ܦܘܪܩܢܗ
pwrqnh bywm klywm sbrw 're' kwlh lmry' shbkhw
Sing to Yahweh, all the earth! Display his salvation from day to day.

ܐܫܬܥܘ ܒܝܬ ܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܐܝܩܪܗ
'yqrh emm' byth 'shthew
Declare his glory among the nations, and his marvelous works among all the peoples.
25
ܡܛܠ ܕܪܒ ܗܘ ܡܪܝܐ ܘܫܒܝܚ ܛܒ ܘܕܚܝܠ ܗܘ ܥܠ ܟܠܗܘܢ ܥܡ̈ܡܐ
emm' klhwn el hw wdkhyl Tb wshbykh mry' hw drb mTl
For great is Yahweh, and greatly to be praised. He also is to be feared above all gods.

ܡܛܠ ܕܟܠܗܘܢ ܦܬܟܪ̈ܐ ܕܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܨܠܡ̈ܐ ܐܢܘܢ ܘܡܪܝܐ ܫܡܝܐ ܥܒ̣ܕ
ebd shmy' wmry' 'nwn tslm' demm' pthkr' dklhwn mTl
For all the gods of the peoples are idols, but Yahweh made the heavens.
27
ܘܬܫܒܘܚܬܐ ܘܝܐܝܘܬܐ ܩܕܡܘܗܝ ܥܘܫܢܐ ܘܪܒܘܬܐ ܒܡܩܕܫܗ
bmqdshh wrbwth' ewshn' qdmwhy wy'ywth' wthshbwkhth'
Honor and majesty are before him. Strength and gladness are in his place.

ܐܘܕܘ ܠܡܪܝܐ ܫܪ̈ܒܬܐ ܕܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܐܘܕܘ ܩܕܡ ܡܪܝܐ ܒܐܝܩܪܗ ܘܒܥܘܫܢܗ
wbewshnh b'yqrh mry' qdm 'wdw demm' shrbth' lmry' 'wdw
Ascribe to Yahweh, you families of the peoples, ascribe to Yahweh glory and strength!

ܐܘܕܘ ܠܡܪܝܐ ܒܐܝܩܪܐ ܕܫܡܗ ܫܩܘܠܘ ܩܘܪ̈ܒܢܐ ܘܐܘܕܘ ܩܕܡܘܗܝ ܒܨܠܘܬܐ ܕܦܘܡܟܘܢ ܘܣܓܘܕܘ ܠܡܪܝܐ ܒܬܫܒ̈ܚܬܐ ܕܩܘܕܫܗ
dqwdshh bthshbkhth' lmry' wsgwdw dpwmkwn btslwth' qdmwhy w'wdw qwrbn' shqwlw dshmh b'yqr' lmry' 'wdw
Ascribe to Yahweh the glory due to his name. Bring an offering, and come before him. Worship Yahweh in holy array.

ܘܬܙܘܥ ܡܢ ܩܕܡܘܗܝ ܟܠܗ̇ ܐܪܥܐ ܘܬܬܩܢ ܬܒܝܠ ܕܠܐ ܬܙܘܥ
thzwe dl' thbyl wththqn 're' klh qdmwhy mn wthzwe
Tremble before him, all the earth. The world also is established that it can’t be moved.

ܢܚܕܘܢ ܫܡܝܐ ܘܬܫܒܚ ܐܪܥܐ ܘܢܐܡܪܘܢ ܒܝܬ ܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܐܡܠܟ
'mlk dmry' emm' byth wn'mrwn 're' wthshbkh shmy' nkhdwn
Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice! Let them say among the nations, “Yahweh reigns!”

ܢܫܒܚ ܝܡܐ ܒܡܠܐܗ ܘܢܚ̈ܕܝܢ ܚܩ̈ܠܬܐ ܘܟܠ ܕܐܝܬ ܒܗܝܢ
bhyn d'yth wkl khqlth' wnkhdyn bml'h ym' nshbkh
Let the sea roar, and its fullness! Let the field exult, and all that is in it!
33
ܗܝܕܝܢ ܢܫܒܚܘܢ ܐܝ̈ܠܢܐ ܕܥܒܐ ܡܢ ܩܕܡ ܡܪܝܐ ܕܐܬܐ ܠܡܕܢܗ̇ ܠܐܪܥܐ ܢܕܘܢ ܬܒܝܠ ܒܟܐܢܘܬܐ ܘܢܟܣ ܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܒܗܝܡܢܘܬܐ
bhymnwth' emm' wnks bk'nwth' thbyl ndwn l're' lmdnh d'th' mry' qdm mn deb' 'yln' nshbkhwn hydyn
Then the trees of the forest will sing for joy before Yahweh, for he comes to judge the earth.

ܘܐܡܪ ܐܘܕܘ ܠܡܪܝܐ ܕܛܒ ܗܘ ܘܠܥܠܡ ܛܝܒܘܬܗ
Tybwthh wlelm hw dTb lmry' 'wdw w'mr
Oh give thanks to Yahweh, for he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever.

ܦܪܘܩܝܢܝ ܡܪܝܐ ܦܪܘܩܝܢܝ ܘܟܢܫܝܢ ܘܩܪܒܝܢ ܡܢ ܒܝܬ ܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܠܡܘܕܝܘ ܠܫܡܐ ܕܩܘܕܫܟ ܘܠܡܫܒܚܘ ܒܬܫܒ̈ܚܬܟ
bthshbkhthk wlmshbkhw dqwdshk lshm' lmwdyw emm' byth mn wqrbyn wknshyn prwqyny mry' prwqyny
Say, “Save us, God of our salvation! Gather us together and deliver us from the nations, to give thanks to your holy name, to triumph in your praise.”

ܒܪܝܟ ܗܘ ܡܪ̈ܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ ܕܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܡܢ ܥܠܡ̈ܐ ܘܥܕܡܐ ܠܥܠܡ̈ܐ ܘܢܐܡܪ ܟܠܗ ܥܡܐ ܐܡܝܢ ܒܦܘܡܐ ܒܣܝܡܐ ܘܕܟܝܐ ܢܫܒܚܘܢ ܠܐܠܗܗܘܢ
l'lhhwn nshbkhwn wdky' bsym' bpwm' 'myn em' klh wn'mr lelm' wedm' elm' mn d'ysryl mrwth' mr' hw bryk
Blessed be Yahweh, the God of Israel, from everlasting even to everlasting. All the people said, “Amen,” and praised Yahweh.

ܘܫܒܩ ܬܡܢ ܩܕܡ ܩܒܘܬܐ ܕܕܝܬܩܐ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܠܐܣܦ ܘܠܐ̈ܚܘܗܝ ܠܡܫܡܫܘ ܩܕܡ ܡܪܝܐ ܐܡܝܢܐܝܬ ܐܢܫ ܐܢܫ ܕܝܘܡܗ
dywmh 'nsh 'nsh 'myn'yth mry' qdm lmshmshw wl'khwhy l'sp dmry' ddythq' qbwth' qdm thmn wshbq
So he left Asaph and his brothers there before the ark of Yahweh’s covenant, to minister before the ark continually, as every day’s work required;

ܘܥܘܒܪ ܐܕܘܡ ܘܐܚ̈ܘܗܝ ܫܬܝܢ ܘܬܡܢܝܐ ܘܥܘܒܪ ܐܕܘܡ ܙܥܘܪܐ ܒܪܗ ܕܝܪܬܘܡ ܘܚܣܘ ܗܠܝܢ ܟܠܗܘܢ ܢ̇ܛܪ̈ܝ ܬܪ̈ܥܐ ܒܪ̈ܝܐ
bry' thre' nTry klhwn hlyn wkhsw dyrthwm brh zewr' 'dwm wewbr wthmny' shthyn w'khwhy 'dwm wewbr
and Obed-Edom with their sixty-eight relatives; Obed-Edom also the son of Jeduthun and Hosah to be doorkeepers;

ܘܚܨܪܘܢ ܟܗܢܐ ܘܐܚ̈ܘܗܝ ܟܗ̈ܢܐ ܗܠܝܢ ܟܠܗܘܢ ܟܗ̈ܢܐ ܕܡܫܡܫܝܢ ܩܕܡ ܡܫܟܢܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܒܒܘܡܣܐ ܪܒܐ ܕܐܝܬ ܒܩܘܪܝܬ ܓܒܥܘܢ
gbewn bqwryth d'yth rb' bbwms' dmry' mshknh qdm dmshmshyn khn' klhwn hlyn khn' w'khwhy khn' wkhtsrwn
and Zadok the priest and his brothers the priests, before Yahweh’s tabernacle in the high place that was at Gibeon,

ܠܡܩܪܒܘ ܥܠܘ̈ܬܐ ܠܡܪܝܐ ܥܠ ܡܕܒܚܐ ܕܥܠܬܐ ܐܡܝܢܐܝܬ ܒܨܦܪܐ ܘܒܪܡܫܐ ܘܠܡܥܒܕ ܟܠ ܡܐ ܕܟܬܝܒ ܒܢܡܘܣܐ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܕܝܗܒ ܥܠ ܐܝܕܐ ܕܡܘܫܐ ܠܡܠܦܘ ܠܒ̈ܢܝ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ
'ysryl lbny lmlpw dmwsh' 'yd' el dyhb dmry' bnmws' dkthyb m' kl wlmebd wbrmsh' btspr' 'myn'yth delth' mdbkh' el lmry' elwth' lmqrbw
to offer burnt offerings to Yahweh on the altar of burnt offering continually morning and evening, even according to all that is written in Yahweh’s law, which he commanded to Israel;

ܘܗܠܝܢ ܫܡ̈ܗܐ ܕܓܒܪ̈ܐ ܕܩ̇ܝܡܝܢ ܒܬܫܒ̈ܚܬܐ ܗܡܢ ܘܐܪܝܬܘܢ ܘܫܪܟܐ ܕܐܢܫܐ ܙܕܝܩ̈ܐ ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܐܬܟܣܝܘ ܫܡܗ̈ܝܗܘܢ ܠܡܘܕܝܘ ܠܡܪܝܐ ܡܛܘܠ ܕܠܥܠܡ ܛܝܒܘܬܗ
Tybwthh dlelm mTwl lmry' lmwdyw shmhyhwn d'thksyw 'ylyn zdyq' d'nsh' wshrk' w'rythwn hmn bthshbkhth' dqymyn dgbr' shmh' whlyn
and with them Heman and Jeduthun and the rest who were chosen, who were mentioned by name, to give thanks to Yahweh, because his loving kindness endures forever;

ܘܗܢܘܢ ܗܠܝܢ ܐܢܫܐ ܙܕܝܩ̈ܐ ܡܫܒܚܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܠܐ ܗܘܐ ܒܡܐ̈ܢܝ ܬܫܒܚ̈ܬܐ ܘܠܐ ܒܦ̈ܠܓܐ ܘܠܐ ܒܪ̈ܒܝܥܐ ܘܠܐ ܒܩܪ̈ܢܬܐ ܟܦ̈ܝܦܬܐ ܘܐܦ ܠܐ ܒܦܫ̈ܝܛܬܐ ܘܐܦ ܠܐ ܒܨܨ̈ܠܐ ܡܫܒܚܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܐܠܐ ܒܦܘܡܐ ܒܣܝܡܐ ܘܒܨܠܘܬܐ ܕܟܝܬܐ ܘܡܫܡܠܝܬܐ ܘܒܟܐܢܘܬܐ ܘܒܬܡܝܡܘܬܐ ܠܡܪܝܐ ܐܠܗܐ ܚܝܠܬܢܐ ܡܪܗ ܕܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܡܪܐ ܕܟܠܗܘܢ ܥ̇ܒ̈ܕܐ
